ISCJS officially opens its Research Centre
The ISCJS has just taken another significant step in their walk while higher education institution staff for excellence in teaching and which has as one of its objectives the promotion of scientific research, with the official opening of CEJES - Centre for Legal Studies, Economic and Social.
At the official opening, which took place on December 9 and was chaired by. Hon. Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the minister congratulated the initiative of ISCJS, emphasizing the importance of study centers to the gym in a particular way and to Cape Verde in general. António Correia e Silva also welcomed the ISCJS the smart move to associate CEJES to a journal, the Journal Capeverdean of Law and Social Sciences, which will be presented shortly and which will serve as a vehicle for the studies produced by CEJES.
In the opening act, the President of ISCJS, Dra. Yara Miranda stressed that the CEJES will serve all teachers of the house, but, moreover, is intended to serve as a stimulus to scientific research of our students.
The CEJES is located in the Campus I ISCJS and is properly equipped to allow the use and production of many works.
Following the opening of CEJES, promoted a conference on the theme "The importance of research centers to universities," which was given by Dr. Francisco Veiga, Professor of the University of Minho, and Dr.. Djeneba Traoré, Director general of the Institute of West Africa.
